THE LISBON AREA HISTORICAL SOCIETY WELCOMES YOU TO OUR WEBSITE!
We are pleased to share with you information about the Society and its
work. It is our hope that you will consider joining in our
ongoing efforts to collect, preserve and share materials and
information concerning the history of Lisbon, Landaff and Lyman New
Hampshire and the surrounding area.
Through the links on the left of this page, you will be able to learn
much about the Society and how you and others can join in and help
advance our efforts. As you will see, you have the opportunity to

- Attend our public programs and events concerning the history of the area. - Purchase books and maps on our area history published by the Society. - View items from our growing Collections in person or online via the Internet. - Donate documents, photographs and other items of historic importance. - Become a member of the Society. - Make financial contributions to support the Society's programs and mission.

* * * OUR LATEST NEWS - HISTORICAL SOCIETY THINGS TO SEE AND DO!
- As an active participant in the new
www.whitemountainhistory.org project, the Society has put online images
of many items from our Collections, including several 19th Century

- We will at the upcoming July 24-25 Lisbon School 5-Year Reunion
being displaying at the school many historical items relating to
Lisbon's schools over the years. You will also be able to tour
the beautifully restored Lisbon Historic Railroad Station & Museum
where other historical Items will be on view. See "Programs
& Events."
- Our books and maps (Great Gifts!!!) can be purchased at our public
events or by contacting us at any time. To see these items and
how to acquire same, go to "Publications".
- Our plans for the fall months include an antiques appraisal
event and an informative walk at Salmon Hole Cemetery. More
information on these and other events will be coming soon! Stay
